Finally, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week has taken place in New York. Here are some of my favourite looks from 3.1 Phillip Lim. His pastel palette was key inspiration for SS12 and this collection is definitely going to fill those shoes! I'm loving the all new dramatic monochrome colour palette with red and blue accents - very Chanel-esque. The use geometric shapes and a trustworthy giant hounds tooth print are amazing for adding some personality to the pieces. The collection consists of some great shapes including square shoulders, high necks and cinched in waistlines for creating a very sophisticated, smart and feminine style with a man-ish twist. My favourite look is the final image with the leather biker teamed with red high waisted trousers and a clashing white belt. LOVE!
