Mary Katrantzou RTW AW12/13

The highly anticipated AW12/13 ready-to-wear collection from Mary Katrantzou finally arrived at 10am this morning at the Topshop LFW venue - and what a show is was! The collection was completely print crazy with a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours bringing a new lease of life to the catwalk. The pieces were drowned in prints inpsired by spoons, phone dials, garden mazes, paints splatters, typewriter keys, carousel horses, luggage tassels and clothes hangers with one dress being embroidered with real yellow pencils! The collection was made up of her signiture OTT shapes of huge peplums and shoulder details including padding with some pieces having an origami feel to them. Truly a magical and inspirational show - I wonder what the hell she'll think of next?!
