BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend.

So this weekend, I was lucky enough to have bagged myself a Saturday ticket to attend BBC Radio 1s Hackney Weekend in London! The line up itself was one of the best festival line ups I've ever seen... we saw Annie Mac, Eric Prydz, Calvin Harris, Example, Nicki Minaj, Swedish House Mafia, Sean Paul, MIA, Rihanna, Kanye West and Jay Z. My outfit... Neon yellow jeans and grey vest are TOPSHOP, leather jacket is vintage River Island and black glossy rubber wellingtons are Hunter. Next stop, HIDEOUT FESTIVAL, where I plan to be in hot pants and flip flops rather than my jeans and wellies!!!

This is BAMBI&MANSONs motto and aesthetic that they follow when they up-cycle and rework vintage denim Levi's hot pants and jackets to give them a unique, new lease of life. Perfect for summer, they use beautiful neons and pastels for their colour palette thrown together in the form of of tie dye and showered with embellishment and studding to make what I would call the perfect pair of shorts... however, at £60 a pop, I'm only going to be able to afford one pair :( Above are some of my faves!

Today's outfit.

So today, I finally went to view my university degree show with my Mum in Birmingham! Well done to everyone reading this who studied Textiles for all their super hard work, we should all be really proud :) After viewing my work off we went to shop till we drop at the Selfridge's sale... YAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! Got some amazing bargains and some really fabulous pressies to put up for Christmas! Exciting! Anyway, todays outfit - slight confession - I did see this amazing grey kitted marl dress with mid-drift knot on my cousin at a party before she left to go an work in America for 3 months and I couldn't resist it as it so pretty and was such a bargain at £28 minus 10% student discount from Miss Selfridge! The oversized denim jacket and black buckle shoes with studded heels are both TOPSHOP (obviously TOPSHOP for the jacket as it isn't truly oversized), silver cross on a black thong necklace is also Miss Selfridge, black wayfarer sunglasses are Ray Ban and random bits of silver jewellery are from Tiffany & Co, Links of London, Thomas Sabo and Pandora.

Frosted @ Flamingos.

After making lots of amazing new friends on the beautiful white island of IBIZA, I was introduced to my most recent and exciting shoe find... FROSTED. The brand customizes your average sneakers including Converse, Nike hi-tops and Vans with sparkly Swarovski crystals to give them an expensive lease of life and make them stand out from the crowd! They are available exclusively at Flamingos Boutique in Radlett, Hertfordshire. The brands aesthetic is offering fashion driven pieces that aren't available in masses on the high street with no limits on quantities of 'BLING'. I am literally obsessed with them - I think I've decided on a favourite pair and then I spot another! With so many beautiful designs to choose from its really hard to pick! Jubilee celebrations at Topshop.

Here are some images of TOPSHOPs very British and patriotic visual merchandising theme that has been put into place at most stores around the country (this being Shepherds Bush)... What with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics due to take place anytime, it's all very touristy but also really very thought evoking and exciting! The Jubilee bank holiday weekend officially went far too quickly for me personally; I literally felt like I had one day off! Annoying! Spent the weekend in London with boyfriend, and I must say the whole 'let's go watch Queenie float down the Thames' thing didn't really interest me all too much! Instead celebrated by getting royally buggered at Ministry of Sound on the Saturday and then shopping at Westfield Shepherds Bush on the Monday! All in all, a lovely weekend... just cannot wait to move now <3

SO SO SO EXCITED FOR SUMMER NOW! Been suffering from what feels like depression due to lack of sun, free time and partying since returning from Ibiza! Only 15 days till Croatia thank god! Here are some lovely summery snaps to get you in the mood for summer which is hopefully going to start soon in the UK... the bad weather is starting to really annoy the hell out of me now! I'm so in love with neons, tie dye, crochet and aztec prints right now... I'm gonna say I'm borderline obsessed in fact! Just wish I could wear all my summer clothes right now!!!
